Walk the Coastal Path, and you’ll be treated to stunning views of high cliffs dropping straight to the sea, or to small coves far below. Beach lovers will also enjoy a cottage holiday here in North Devon. Resorts like Woolacombe and Saunton offer long stretches of sandy beach that are ideal for surfing and sailboarding. Clovelly is a real beauty spot, and very picturesque, while Appledore is a picture-perfect fishing village. Photographers take note. Ilfracombe is a more traditional seaside resort, but is not overly-commercialised, while the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth have an atmosphere all their own.
