Description

Built in the 1970s, the Villa Cowan is a ‘double –family’ sized house. It is adjacent to the old town of Hvar with its historic architecture and overlooks the Franciscan monastery beside a small beach. The island of Hvar on the Dalmatian coast is an exotic location with clean beaches and sea and remarkably good weather. As the Villa Cowan has 12 beds it is ideal for two families, wedding or other groups.

Fully equipped and newly renovated it has a garage and parking and since often the best places are accessible only by sea there is use of a boat. It is entered via steps which help to give it privacy. The house is arranged on three floors (take the tour) and right at the top is a patio with commanding views of the sea, islands, hills and town. So whether you want a quiet holiday with family or friends or a lively time with a group Villa Cowan will provide a perfect all year round venue.

The hall leads to three bedrooms- the first with two full sized beds called the children's room because of the pictures on the walls; the second is a double bedroom, beds can be separated and the third is a single bedroom . The single bedroom and the children's bedroom have doors onto the lower patio where children can play safely. There is another pull down bed in the double bedroom.

On the middle floor there is a double bedroom with balcony and sea view.

On the top floor there are two double bedrooms, one with a cot, one with a balcony with excellent sea views. All twin beds convert to doubles and vice versa. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

There are four brand new bathrooms - two on the bottom floor [one is en suite to the double bedroom] each with shower, loo and basin; the middle floor bedroom has an en suite with a bath, loo and basin; the top floor has the fourth bathroom between the two bedrooms with shower, basin and loo. There is also a separate loo on the middle floor.

On the middle floor there is a large living room with a balcony with sea views. The living room is equipped with air conditioning, satellite and internet connected TV, hifi, video & DVD. There is an attractive fireplace and an archway connects the living room with the indoor dining area. This, in turn, leads to the patio dining area with a partial sea view. The newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen has a dresser on one side and two alcoves with the cooker. On the other side of the kitchen is a long work top. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and dishwasher at the back of the kitchen.

On the top floor there is a third patio with commanding views over the sea and islands- good for sunbathing and drinks in the evening as the sun is going down.
